It isa solid carbon steel rod which is pushed on to the mandrel toform the shape of tube. It is availabe in different sizes.
A seamless pipe is a round hollow section manufactured by drawing a solid billet (in carbon, alloy, stainless or nickel alloy steel) through a piercing rod. Seamless pipes are considered superior to weldedpipes as they are built using monolithic steel billets, with intrinsic mechanical strength, without seam welds.
